Humble ISD

The Humble Independent School District (HISD) Board of Trustees is HISD's governing body. Duties include establishing HISD policy and goals, monitoring success, adopting a budget and setting a tax rate, and appointing the school superintendent. The seven board members are elected at-large by all voters in HISD for staggered 4-year terms with no term limits and serve without pay.
