Constable

A Constable is a licensed peace officer responsible for enforcing the law within their precinct. They often serve legal papers, such as subpoenas or eviction notices, and may assist in making arrests and maintaining order in the community. Constables also provide security for the Justice of the Peace courts. They are elected to serve four-year terms and must be licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
