Candidates

The Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) Board of Education is SBISD's governing body. Duties include establishing SBISD policy and goals, monitoring success, adopting a budget and setting a tax rate, and appointing the school superintendent. The seven board members are elected at-large by all voters in SBISD for staggered 3-year terms with no term limits and serve without pay.

Matthew Cone
I am a product of SBISD, father of two elementary sons in the district. I serve on SBMSA, SBEF, and SFAT committees. I have advocated for SBISD at the state and local level. I am for the families and community.

Fiscal Responsibility - align budget to support programs from the janitor to the Principal. Trim excess in areas of flux that are not punitive to the community.
Student & Teacher Experience - Inspire, Support and Retain our excellent teachers. Support successful programming.
