Candidates

The Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) Board of Education is SBISD's governing body. Duties include establishing SBISD policy and goals, monitoring success, adopting a budget and setting a tax rate, and appointing the school superintendent. The seven board members are elected at-large by all voters in SBISD for staggered 3-year terms with no term limits and serve without pay.

I have an extremely diverse background in operations, logistics, and management with unique skills in solving difficult problems with a multitude of different stakeholders. I am a problem solver by nature and don't rest until I find a solution that works for all involved.

Budget shortfalls and teacher shortages. I believe that these problems will require lots of support from our community and creative thinking on behalf of the board. We will have to find unique ways to fund programs since the state is failing us in regards to our budget shortfall.
