The Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) Board of Trustees is GPISD's governing body. Duties include establishing GPISD policy and goals, monitoring success, adopting a budget and setting a tax rate, and appointing the school superintendent. The seven board members are elected at-large by all voters in GPISD for staggered 3-year terms with no term limits and serve without pay.
