I have dedicated my whole life to serving others and believe that the mesure of our strength is based on inclusion. I listen and work hard to find positive solutions. Together with others, we have built equitable parks and led efforts to address food insecurity, affordable housing, educational and healthcare access for the least among us. I know how the process works and I have drafted state and federal laws that benefit everyone. I can bring people together and deliver positive results.

Personal freedoms have been under attack and must be restored. These include reproductive rights for women, voting rights for all people, and basic civil rights for marginalized communities. I will work to place these freedoms into our Texas Constitution.
Second, the government of the state of Texas must place people first. Texas has failed on this issue. We must invest in public education from PRE-K to post graduate studies, keep people safe, and provide a fair criminal justice system that invests in mental health. I will work to strengthen our investments in smart energy, infrastructure, and new technologies. I will also champion efforts to make our property tax system more fair.
