District Attorney, Democrat

The Office of Harris County District Attorney represents the State of Texas in criminal cases pending in Harris County Criminal District Courts and all inferior courts of the county. The district attorney's role includes screening all cases and providing advice to both police and citizens on matters related to criminal justice. The term of office for the Harris County District Attorney is four years.
