Harris County-County Attorney, Democrat

The Office of Harris County Attorney serves as the legal representative for the State, County, and Flood Control District, as well as their officers and employees, in all civil matters presented in court. The County Attorney provides legal advice to elected and appointed officers regarding their official duties. Additionally, the County Attorney operates a law enforcement program to protect consumers, public health, and the environment. The office also offers revenue enforcement services. The term of office for the Harris County Attorney is four years.
