PISD must prioritize student success while adapting to legislative changes. To achieve this, we should implement the Blue Bonnet curriculum, strengthen parental involvement, enhance school safety, and advocate at state and national levels for funding and policies that protect school districts' autonomy. This will ensure that local leaders can make decisions that best serve the students.

STUDENT PERFORMANCE: What actions do you support to increase the math and reading proficiency scores across the school district?

I support implementing the Blue Bonnet curriculum, expanding targeted intervention programs, providing teacher training in proven instructional methods, increasing parental engagement, and using data-driven strategies to identify and support struggling students, ensuring every child has the tools to succeed
