Education and experience. I have 30 years of experience as a small business owner and academic degrees in marketing and psychology from the University of Houston and Tecnológico de Monterrey. I also hold a Master’s in Mental Health from HCU.

ISSUES: What are the two most important issues affecting San Jacinto College? What measurable actions will you take to address them?

San Jacinto Community College is an asset to our community. I prioritize promoting within the school districts it serves.
Higher education is an important option that should be encouraged in our community. Number two: Programs like dual credit and transfer opportunities, and talking about mental health.

QUALITY AND AFFORDABILITY: What actions do you support to ensure quality education, while not increasing cost of attendance?

The opportunity is the promotion in different population sectors, where family discussions about the benefits of a high-quality education are rare. Promoting programs such as FAFSA should be clear.
