BACKGROUND: What training, experience, and characteristics qualify you for this position?

I served as Councilwoman from 2011-2015 for the city of South Houston. I have an Accounting Degree and I have been a part-time small business owner for more than 20 years. I have gained leadership skills working in the Aviation industry since 1998.

ISSUES: What are the two most important issues affecting residents of your city or district? What measurable actions will you take to address them?

1. Quality of Life. I will implement Youth and Senior programs through a volunteer committee. I will be an active liaison in the South Houston Economic Development Corporation to advocate for our local businesses and to promote new ones. As an Accounting expert, I will balance the budget. 2. Safety. I will make sure funds are appropriately designated for the safety and protection of residents
