What training, experience, and characteristics qualify you for this position?

I am practicing lawyer for over 33 years. I have tried numerous cases before juries and judges. Most all of my experience is in the civil courts which is the same as the 129th civil district court.

What will you do to promote the just, prompt, and affordable resolution of civil cases that come before your court?

I will try cases, and make prompt rulings. I will work hand-in-hand with court staff to make sure all pending matters are resolved in a timely manner.

What will you do to ensure that cases before your court are heard in a timely manner?

I will work closely with the court staff to make sure that each case has a docket control order, which sets each case for trial and completion of discovery as well as settings for mediation.
