What training, experience, and characteristics qualify you for this position?
I am qualified for this position by my judicial experience, intellectual integrity and spirit of servant leadership.
My judicial service includes eleven years on the municipal bench and nearly eight years on the state, civil trial bench to which I seek re-election.
My greatest virtue is courage. In the words of Maya Angelou: Courage is the most important of the virtues because courage is required before one can be consistently kind, true, fair, generous, just and merciful.
What will you do to promote the just, prompt, and affordable resolution of civil cases that come before your court?
I will continue to mercifully insist on the rule of law, dignity, respect, generosity, excellence and adherence to my belief that "Justice is a shared job."
What will you do to ensure that cases before your court are heard in a timely manner?
I will better insist on rule compliance, advocate excellence and conferencing, and never abandon my committed efforts at self-evaluation, innovation and improvement. I will continue to insist on hard work from myself and the entire court team.
