My hands-on approach & passion for social justice drive me to fight for a better life for all. With my experience, commitment, and understanding of community challenges, I am ready to represent and serve effectively in Washington.

What actions do you support to address cost of living concerns?

To address cost of living concerns, I support several key actions. First, increasing the minimum wage to ensure all workers earn a livable income is essential. Second, expanding affordable housing initiatives will help reduce the burden of high rent and mortgage costs. Third, advocating for accessible, quality healthcare will alleviate medical expenses that strain many families. Fourth, promoting education and job training programs will empower individuals to secure higher-paying jobs. Additionally, I support policies that lower the cost of prescription drugs and utilities. By implementing these measures, we can create a more equitable and sustainable economy for all.

What are your priorities regarding immigration policy? What specific actions would you take to address these priorities?

My immigration policy priorities are to ensure a humane & fair system. I support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, particularly DREAMers, & improving the efficiency of the immigration process. I advocate for reuniting families separated at the border & providing asylum seekers with due process. Additionally, I will work to enhance border security with technology & better resource management rather than building walls. These actions will foster a more just & efficient system.

What is the role of the federal government in establishing laws and regulations related to reproductive healthcare services including family planning, pregnancy care and post- partum services? Please explain your position.

The federal government should protect and expand funding for access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare, including family planning, pregnancy care, and postpartum services. I support federally funded programs like Title X and Medicaid for low-income individuals and protecting the right to choose with safe, legal access to abortion services. National standards and funding guarantee equitable, accessible reproductive healthcare for all.

What measures do you support to address environmental issues and natural disasters, such as air quality, extreme weather events, drought, and flooding?

To address environmental issues and natural disasters, I support measures such as investing in renewable energy to reduce air pollution, enhancing infrastructure to withstand extreme weather, and promoting water conservation to combat drought. I advocate for stricter emissions regulations, improved disaster response and preparedness, and funding for climate resilience projects. These steps will help mitigate the impact of environmental challenges and protect our communities.
