What training, experience, and characteristics qualify you for this position?

I was raised by one of the strongest women I've ever met. She instilled in me the teachings of chivalry, respect, and loyalty to both men and women. Through her struggle, I have seen what women go through day in and day out, which disgusts me. Now they're trying to take away control of their bodies? Not on my watch.

Article 7 of the Texas Constitution states that “it shall be the duty of the Legislature of the State to establish and make suitable provision for the support and maintenance of an efficient system of public free schools.” What is your interpretation of what this clause requires of the legislature?

The Legislature should make sure that all public schools are funded equally, that the curriculum being taught is honest and educational, and that any problems that may arise should be handled in a private forum rather than on primetime television.

How will you ensure that Texas remains a leader in the energy sector through innovation and reliability?

Iam already halfway through a solar bill that will save taxpayer dollars, increase energy efficiency, end the scam pulled on so many of our senior citizens, and hold solar companies accountable for what they promise and deliver.

What do you believe is the appropriate role of the State of Texas in ensuring that Texans have access to reproductive healthcare, family planning, and pregnancy care and postpartum services?

Her body; her choice. Scientific research has shown that a human fetus can NOT survive outside the womb until 21-22 weeks. This means that the 6 week grace period is a joke and Republicans are way too occupied with cells being removed, even though it has absolutely NOTHING to do with them.

What other issues are high priorities for the people of your district? Please give specific examples of measurable actions that you will take to address these issues.

I am a huge advocate for the homeless and battered women. I regularly volunteer at venues around town to help lend a voice to those less fortunate and to help ensure that battered women don't fall into the same cycle as before. I wish I could say I had a perfect record, but the cycle of abuse is strong and I've lost a few of those battles before.
