In my career I have embodied the transition we need to make to renewable energy. I started out as an oil and gas engineer and transitioned to becoming a renewable energy developer who has built some of the largest wind and solar projects in the United States. I got my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Texas A&M before going on to earn a Master’s in energy economics and climate policy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

1) The lack of access to healthcare 2) The climate crisis We need a single-payer “Medicare for All” healthcare system that guarantees healthcare as a right rather than a privilege by abolishing the private insurance industry that preys on so many innocent Americans. We need to build a green new economy that works for all of Houston by transitioning to 100% renewable energy. The Stone Age didn’t end for a lack of stones, and the oil age won’t end for a lack of oil.
