A proper Representative should live in the district they represent, and I am the only candidate who lives in District 38. For the past 30 years, I have built business experience in real estate and as a director of title insurance over 24 states. My government experience includes lobbying on behalf of affordable housing, healthcare for all, and consumer protection, as well as defending democracy as a Presiding Judge since the 2020 election.

Homelessness and affordable housing affects all Houstonians and people across America. With 3 decades of real estate experience, I understand these needs. Right now, I am working to make sure homeless veterans are receiving the federal funds they need to help buy a home. There is money available for Houstonians, and many people don't know it. We need to work on messaging so that funds are going to the people they were intended for, and don't get rescinded because no one took advantage of them.
Another issue is healthcare. We need to continue to lower prescription drug costs, expand Medicaid in Texas, offer healthcare for students, and restore reproductive freedom.
